BATTERIES

We accept a wide variety of batteries. All of the batteries we accept must adhere to detailed packaging specifications. It is important that you follow these legal requirements for packaging lead-acid batteries. Use the resources we have provided as a guide to remain in compliance with the laws.

BRASS

We accept a wide variety of brass materials. Today almost 90% of all brass alloys are recycled. Because brass is not ferromagnetic, it can be separated from ferrous scrap by passing the scrap near a powerful magnet. Aluminum makes brass stronger and more corrosion resistant. To enhance the machinability of brass, lead is often added in concentrations of around 2%.

COPPER

We accept a wide variety of copper materials, including insulated copper wire. Copper is 100% recyclable without any loss of quality whether in a raw state or contained in a manufactured product. Copper is the third most recycled metal after iron and aluminum.

LOW GRADE

We accept a variety of low grade non-ferrous scrap including Alternators, Starters, Electric Motors & Sealed Units to name a few.

STAINLESS STEEL

We accept a variety of stainless steel materials. Stainless steel is 100% recyclable. An average stainless steel object is composed of about 60% recycled material of which approximately 40% originates from end-of-life products and about 60% comes from manufacturing processes. The recycled product is mostly coil, sheet and blanks.

ALUMINUM

We accept a wide variety of aluminum materials. Aluminum is the most widely used non-ferrous metal. Aluminum is 100% recyclable without any loss of its natural qualities. Recycled aluminum is known as secondary aluminum, but maintains the same physical properties as primary aluminum.

TRANSFORMERS

We accept a variety of transformers. Transformers range in size from a thumbnail-sized coupling transformer hidden inside a stage microphone to huge units weighing hundreds of tons used to interconnect portions of power grids.
